In-house players have a 1hr training session, from 5:30pm – 6:30pm on Wednesday evenings. They also play every Saturday, arriving at 8:45am for a 9am start, wrapping up at 10am.

All training and games are played at the Bethania Rams Football Club.

No, we don’t allocate teams until our kids reach Miniroos (Under 8s). Our focus is on skill development, flexibility and a love of the game. While we’ll divide the kids into groups each week, they’re not in set teams and will have the chance to learn from different coaches. They’ll play with and against their mates throughout the season.

No, games are not scored and there is no ladder.

No. In-house is about participation, confidence, and love of the game.

Our coaches are all volunteers and important members of our club community. All sessions are run by Blue-Card holding adult coaches, with support from Junior Divisional players (aged 13-17).

Yes, a responsible caregiver needs to stay on-site. However, we encourage you to connect with other adults while you’re here. While we love that the children are developing skills, our community comes from the connections forged on and off the field.

Starting after Easter (typically the start of Term 2) and finishing at the end of August, the season runs during the QLD school term. During the school holidays, there is no training or games (QLD State School holidays).

Squirts fees for 2025 are $200, inclusive of:

• Weekly training

• Weekly games

• Uniform including a training shirt, shorts, and socks.

2026 fees will be published in January 2026.

Children wear their uniform to weekday training and weekend games. They’ll also need closed-in shoes (football boots are recommended), shin pads, and a water bottle. Soft hats are allowed, but hard-brimmed hats and caps are not permitted.

In-House players must turn 5, 6 or 7 by the end of the calendar year in which they register. That means for 2026 registrations, children must turn 6 or 7 on or by the 31st December 2026.

Absolutely, we are an inclusive club and many of our volunteers have personal experience or work experience working with children who have a diagnosis such as ADHD, ASD(1-3) and more. Whether it's neurodivergence, a physical disability, or cultural background, we believe every child deserves to play sport.

For children with a diagnosis of any sort (confirmed or suspected), when you sign up, we ask for some written information such as medical or educational records as evidence, so that we can do our best to support your child while following Football Queensland's rules.

Children who are 5 can be enrolled in either Squirts or In-House, depending on their needs. If they’re younger, smaller, or new to soccer, Squirts may be the better fit. If they’re at school, have played soccer or are a bigger 5-year-old, In-House may be best. Sometimes this can come down to availability in one group. One of our friendly volunteers will be able to help you at enrolment.

Children who are turning 8 in the calendar year will typically be registered in an Under 8s team as part of our Miniroos Division. Miniroos train once a week at the Bethania Rams and play each weekend, but they will have home and away games.

Football Queensland does allow some exceptions to this rule for physical and/or social reasons. If this might be your situation, please let us know at registration. We are an intentionally inclusive club - we just need a written application and provide supporting medical and/or educational evidence, so that we can do our best to support your child while following Football Queensland's rules.

No. We have one intake per year in January, with the season starting after Easter. We do fully book, so it’s important to register in January.

Registrations open each year in January, with 2 dates available for sign-ups. These happen at the club, where you can confirm uniform sizes.

On registration day, you’ll fill in a registration form for the club and we’ll also add you to Squadi. Squadi is the app we use across all divisions to communicate game times and wet weather. While game times and location is consistent for Squirts, as they age up, you’ll need access to the app to see fixtures and locations.
